Alnwick Wedding Cars offer a professional wedding car service based in Alnwick, operating within a thirty mile radius of their home town in rural Northumberland. With over 6 years experience, they operate as a partnership and endeavor to offer a personal service at all events. A wedding car service can be provided further afield with the modern cars.
Alnwick Wedding Cars is run as a partnership between Derek Bowden and Jim Thompson. Both know the local area well and have lots of experience in dealing with people and organising arrangements. Both partners were engineers then one set up a taxi business and the other had a career as a fire officer. They met up again and decided there was a need for a company offering classic cars to match the many classic venues in rural Northumberland and set up Alnwick Wedding Cars to meet the need.
All the cars used are owned and insured by the partners, there are no “hobby cars” involved so you can be assured of a reliable professional service in all your dealings with, and the service delivered by the company. All the cars are original "classics", there are no kit or reproduction cars in the fleet.
The directors take a personal interest in making and completing the arrangements for your transport and one director will always try to attend on the day to ensure everything runs as arranged. On the day the cars will not be rushing off to another appointment, once booked the cars are there to transport your wedding party and act as backdrops for your photographs for the full time you have booked.
On the day you will have the attention of experienced and security checked drivers with ID badges wearing matching grey suits and caps, who will turn up in advance of the agreed times knowing who they are to pick up and where they are to be taken. All this in smartly turned out cars with leather upholstery and walnut trim for classic comfort. The drivers offer a friendly and helpful service and will do all they can to ensure your day runs smoothly.
Jim says, "We take a pride in our cars which are really special and will grace any event, adding style and luxury. They seat from four up to seven persons and will add that luxury and elegance on photographs for the memorable event"!
